THE PACIFIC CUP

Rugby players from the Pacific Islands are the backbone of the sport, beloved by fans for their agility, strength and talent. Approximately 20% of professional rugby union players are of Pacific Islander heritage. That number jumps to 25% when looking at those playing in the World Cup.

But their homelands are some of the hardest hit by climate change.
To get fans talking we decided to bring the rising sea levels to the stadium, uniting the most exciting players across the globe to play in a match

we’re calling The Pacific Cup

Through an immersive stunt, we’ll bring the harsh reality of the Pacific’s future to the Australian present. We then continued to conversation post-match through OOH & Social Media, mobilising fans to push global rugby sponsors to secure the future of rugby.

First we flooded the stadium, the we flooded the conversation to encourage Rugby Union fans to flood sponsors and get them to support the future of our planet and ultimately save the future of the sport.
